Historic Downtown Middleborough: A great place to live, work and enjoy!
Historic Downtown Middleborough is a beautiful downtown with great places to eat, shop, relax and seek various types of services. The Town is working with numerous Downtown stakeholders to create an even better downtown with more stores, offices and amenities. The Branding Plan, Local Rapid Recovery Plan and a market analysis (2016) were created to provide recommendations and action strategies to lead us to a more vibrant Downtown. These plans discuss strategies for taking ownership of Downtown such as with a Downtown management association; creating a sense of place by adding more of the stores and amenities that people love; promoting and marketing Downtown; engaging people to participate; and measuring Downtown's success—interested in knowing more? Check out this video which describes the initiative! We are also working with downtown stakeholders to form a downtown management group. Check out this presentation from Hudson, MA representatives during a presentation to our Downtown Development Committee.
